The BMHS library has extensive information on early German families -- particularly those who settled in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. We have all of Pastor Ruff's books, many cemetery records, over 150 family histories, numerous vital records from newspapers, and many other resource items to aid genealogical research. So, if you have roots in Westmoreland County, you'll want to check us out.
